Himanshu Home Stay

Our newly built home in the traditional Newari style features the region's distinctive terracotta tiles and antique carved wood doors and windows. It has three guest rooms with en suites. Two of the guest rooms are in a separate building beside the main home. With a rooftop kitchen and open-air lounge area, this residence can be converted for use as stand-alone apartment. We also offer Nepali cooking classes every day!

Your hosts are Rajan and Anshu. Rajan is an active tourism entrepreneur and social worker who believes in bringing positive changes to his country and Anshu is a home maker. Their home is a suburban villa north-west of the Thamel area in Kathmandu valley; a series of airy, open-plan living spaces with marble floors, a roof terrace and modern furnishings. Near the Raniban Forest, the traditional Newari-style building has three guest bedrooms, each with a private en suite.
